KapaHaka is alive and flourishing at Pirongia School with our groups participating in many rich and varied Maori cultural experiences, activities and performances.
The design of the koiri kowhaiwhai above, represents "flourishing" which is why it was chosen to decorate our Maori culture page.
All our children receive an education rich in our nation's unique Maori cultural heritage. But there are over 40 children who also choose to be involved in extra-curricular Kapahaka activities in the school. |
