Term 1 2006 -
The mountain as perceived by the school's youngest children and the school's oldest. This work was part of our schoolwide Term 1 "Together we Climb" unit of study.

Can you see the face on the mountain? Here is the famous mural painted by the amazingly talented Michael Judge, husband of our Pirongia teacher, Linda Judge. The painting also includes the Waipa river, Mount Kakepuku in the distance
and the town of Pirongia itself. The painting is huge. It covers the whole front wall of the hall.
