On Monday some of Kawaka Team did some Coding and Signalling. We learnt about a lot of the codes and signals with Mrs Bryant and how to use them.
Some of these were flag signaling which was waving the flags in different directions to make letters that eventually turned into words. Bush signaling is all the different signals you can use in the bush to say what direction you are going in or where you have gone Egyptian codes are different pictures and scribbles called hieroglyphics which make up letters.
My group did morse code and we built a little morse code buzzer out of a circuit maker the school had, and then we made questions that the other groups had to answer in morse code. We rotated around all the different stations We also had to do a bit of background history and all the codes had really interesting backgrounds.
