Wintec & Exscite Trip

On Monday the 29th June, Kawaka went to the Waikato Institute of Technology to check out the campus and to learn about courses and qualifications. We were able to tour their engineering, sport, health and hospitality facilities. It definitely got us thinking about what future careers we might be interested in!

We also went to the Waikato Museum to interact with their Science and Planet Warrior exhibitions. We did experiments that put Newton's Laws of Motion to the test as well as finding the blind spot we all have in our vision. The Planet Warrior exhibition showed us how to make small changes that will have a big impact on the health of our planet.
