Matua X!

Matua X from 'Extreme Zero Waste' came to visit us over 3 sessions.  He taught us all about waste and how we can reduce this going to landfill.  We learnt about how we can reuse, compost and recycle many of the things we put in our rubbish bins which is excellent news for our environment.  We had a great time with Matua X helping him sort rubbish and put it in the right place (reuse, compost, recycle).  He let us have an up close look at his worm farm and explained how we can use them to help us reduce our waste.  He also showed us his cool puppets and games made from rubbish!  We are now thinking about how we can use rubbish to create musical instruments as part of our Term 3 Inquiry.  We can't wait to get started!
