In Kahikatea:
We are leaders because we are role models.
We are Kaitiaki of the school.
To be a Kaitiaki means you are a caretaker and a role model to younger students and people. In the Kahikatea team we each do a service role to look after the school. The service roles we do are PE Shed cleaners, Library, Chicken Monitors, Grounds and Surrounds, Rubbish and
Recycling.
We can also do leadership roles these are Road Patrol, Librarians, Pe Shed Monitors and Rainy Day Monitors.
